Alma Mater

I graduated today. I am so relieved, but I always have rough nights before a big day like this. The thought of thousands of people looking at me gives me bad dreams and nervous twitches. It was also really REALLY hot today. It was over 85ยบ today, and it is only May. You can only imagine how I felt next to the other 560 students in a black polyester robe and a black dress beneath. Bad choice. It's over now. I am soooo relieved. Now Bloom and I are sitting in our apartment, vegging out. I can't even think right now, so I will show you a few pictures.

Packin' up and shippin' out.

I am graduating from Colorado College with a Bachelors of Arts in Geology in about a week, but I will be done with school by Wednesday, May 14th, 2008. I've been doing a lot of knitting and a lot of packing.
Since Bloom and I are going to be living in to our first apartment together, we are in need of a lot of household items. Currently, I am knitting a throw for our brand new/used couch. It is made out of some of my left overs. Bloom calls it "old lady." Well, gee, sorry if multiple colors of left over yarn don't go that well together.

What else, well, I knit some mittens, a spidery scarf, and another apple baby hat while I was hanging out with my mom after she had her surgery. Every time I go "home" to Walsenburg, I always get a lot of knitting done. That's probably because there is nothing else to do.
